Narrative Update

The footage looks really good and I am pleased with what I've got. However after discussions we all found that maybe the storyline missed a middle section where it explains the transition. We pondered on what we could do and thought of potentially taking stills shots of our actor doing mischievous and horrible things to explain why the transition between love and hate has happened. Also using stills gives us the chance to experiment with multimedia.

I came up with using the seven deadly sins as a basis for why people may dislike him. Here are my ideas below:

• Pride - Showing vanity, using excessive hair gel.
• Envy - Throwing a dart at a picture of a celebrity.
• Gluttony - Having a bigger slice of cake/or pushing away someone's hand when trying to pick at food.
• Lust - Flirting with numerous women at the annoyance of his friends.
• Anger - Shouting at one of his close friends.
• Greed - Walking into a betting shop/Having a betting slip.
• Sloth - Slumped over a chair whilst everyone else does work.

Narrative Update 2

Later in the lesson it was suggested to keep to a romance type scenario. It would make much more sense to the reader as to why people have turned against the main character and would be easy enough to shoot and edit within our deadline.

The plan we have now is to get shots of the actor with the girl he is emailing in previous shots. This girl is the girlfriend of one of his best friends causing lots of controversy.
